It is with sadness that we have heard of the death of one of our founding members and early officers of the BGA
Mr Derek Mitchell, who will be known to some of the older members was a trail blazer in the early days of the BGA, championing the technician accreditation scheme. Whilst he has been retired from the sector for some tears he will long be remembered as a gentleman and someone who believed passionately in the importance of quality provision and fair business practices.
Derek passed away on Friday 13th December after a period of ill health
